No two people are the same and neither should your travels be. We take the time to learn exactly what your desires, interests and preferences are so that your trip can be planned to perfection and custom tailored to you.
You may want to take a cooking class or a private tour, or you may not want to leave the resort pool! Perhaps you want to use travel to educate your kids, plan an unforgettable anniversary trip, or celebrate a milestone birthday with friends and family. Our complimentary consultation allows us to get to know you better and answer any questions you have.
CURATE: We Research & Design
During this phase we are act has your expert guides, researchers and personal concierge to present you with the best itinerary full of ideas and inspiration. We are advocates for your budget and considering every element of your itinerary that will deliver the highest value for your travel investment. We will connect with our destination partners to pull together an initial iteration of what your trip will look like including all accommodations, activities, transportation, pricing and relevant terms.
We will present you with an initial proposal, then collaborate with you, listen to your feedback and tweak your trip until it's perfect!
CONFIRM: We Book & Manage
After you confirm your final proposal, look forward to stress-free planning and an exquisite travel experience when you have every detail and logistic managed for you. We’ll confirm and book your full itinerary and orchestrate everything down to the fine details - from making deposits, setting payment remindres, securing accommodations to informing of special needs.
You will be able to focus on the anticipation of your trip. and creating memories that will last a lifetime. Also, should anything arise we will be there for you to quickly get everything back on track. You can rely on us before, during, and after your trip for a seamless experience.
CELEBRATE: Bon Voyage & Beyond
Time to enjoy your bespoke holiday. Once you depart we are there on the ground with you - by that we mean we have your back and will check-in regularly to support you should you need it. Should anything arise we will be there for you to quickly get everything back on track so you can continue to enjoy your travels stress-free. When you’ve returned home, we’ll be eager to hear your stories and gather feedback for your next trip! We look to be a life-long partner in delivering your travel dreams and thus post trip feedback is a vital part of our process so we can continue to personalize and improve for you with each subsequent trip.
Statement of Transparency
LaVon Private Luxury has a mission to deliver exceptional experiences through exquisite travel. We maintain full transparency when it comes to your travel investment. Every supplier we recommend has been personally vetted through our first hand experience and extensive evaluation. Our clients are our top priority and thus we deliver unbiased, personalized travel advice and recommendations, not influenced by commissions or incentives. We will never hide or mark-up additional costs and maintain a strict policy to always advocate on behalf our clients to achieve the best value for their investment.
Timing & Delivery
We aim to deliver your first proposal within 10 business days. However due to the large impact the pandemic has had on many of our destination partners, the response time due to international time zone differences and lower staffing levels around the globe we have seen this time extended a bit. We will always advise you if we think this will apply to your trip and provide you with our best recommendations to insure a seamless experience. If your trip is within short period and we're seeing availability fill up - we may piecemeal your proposal. For example, we'll send you hotel or villa recommendations first so that we can secure accommodations and THEN and curate additional trip elements to complete your itinerary.
As a sustainably focused company, we deliver all itineraries and supporting documents electronically via our our custom app. It will include day-to-day details of all your trip elements, packing recommendations, destination advice and other tips for your reference.
Changes
During the design process we are happy to make changes to your proposal (ie different activities, shifting order of experiences, selecting a different hotel, etc.), however this does not include changing your destinations entirely. Should you choose to make such a change this will incure an entirely new design and consult fee.
Proposal Pricing & Trip Costs
We do our best to insure your trip is within your desired investment. We will provide all proposals at NET rate, meaning they have not been marked up and will generally be the best pricing available. When we collaborate and use our destination partners, it is industry standard to provide trip costs in aggregate. Many of our best partners do not itemize costs as they have proprietary contracts with their private suppliers. Hotels are priced based on rack rates (meaning same cost you will find online) or lower if we can access special promotions or NET contracted rates. Depending on supplier partners used, proposals may have an additional booking management fee assessed.
Working with our amazing partners around the world is how we are able to access extraodinary, unique and tailored experiences that you may not be able to find online. We ask that you advise us in advance of our planning, if itemized pricing is something you require - therefore we can discuss whether or not we can accommodate.
